    Confidence

     1. Maintain Crisp appearance

    If you look sharp, you will feel sharp and feel good about yourself. Knowing that you look sharp especially when someone else confirms it by compliments or admiration is one of the best feelings in the world. This is what is meant by "feeling yourself". People are more likely to judge a book by its cover so you do not want to leave your appearance to chance. Before you step out learn to spend some quality time in front of the mirror. If you feel confident of your outfit then chances are that confidence is going to show in the way you carry yourself. Again even with the best outfit if you do not carry yourself with prestige you are going to look pretty weird and uncomfortable. This is explained better in my book "The Calm".

    2. Learn to smile

    A smile is a beautiful gesture to pass on. A natural smile makes you seem effortless and bigger than life. A smile makes you beautiful and it is contagious. Frankly no one likes to look upon a frown, it's uncomfortable and ugly. Again practice your smile in front of the mirror. If you can feel yourself, you will have the same effect on people. When next you make acquaintances do it with a firm handshake and a sweet subtle smile.

    3. Always lend a helping hand 

    Everyone likes the person who helps an old lady cross the road. The person who helps others has the gentlest soul. Pick a pen, hold the door for someone, pick dirt off someone. The little helping hand you give to others elevates you to seem bigger than life. Add the sweet smile while helping others and you have a very attractive personality that would linger in minds for a long time.

    4. Appreciate your self

    Buy yourself something nice, get cocky, Dance and appreciate yourself for all your achievements so far no matter how little. This would help renew your spirit and give you the can do attitude to face your challenges. If you are having problems with any challenge head over to my post on how to face challenges.     5. Make out time to do what you love

    Watch that movie, hang with the friends, go swimming even though i don't know how to swim i still go swimming with the homies. like literally i can drown in a tea cup but i still go sit by the pool and have fun. The truth is doing what you love helps you to blow off steam. 

    Although there are many other things you could do to improve your self esteem the above are the most important.
